Freelance Work for the Hospital

In a lot of ways newborn hospital photography has become almost boutique. I recently started working for a company who hires freelance photographers to come into the hospital and take the photos for the infants. It is a joyous job for sure. While I still like working with the newbies in a studio setting where I have three hours with them, this hospital work is leaps and bounds from the old standard hospital "mug shot". So a while back I had the honor of being a second shooter for my good friend Lizzy of Sewickley Photography. Being a second shooter is so much fun when it's with a friend! Thanks for having me along Lizzy. :)

Well... I am in the process of setting up a new blog. It may take me a little longer than I originally would have anticipated. Instead of doing nothing, I figured I should do a few things with this page while the opportunity still presents itself.

Many of you may not know this since I am primarily a Wedding photographer, but I also have aGrow With Me - baby program. There are several different packages available that include maternity, newborn, three month, six month, nine and one year.

Little baby K is in one of the Grow With Me programs, so I get to see her cute little face often for pictures... Here are a few from her 4 months... She is just to cute for words!

All right, well that's it for now. I just got two brand new backdrops and I can not wait to try them out. If you have a 6-9 month old who doesn't have any problems sitting up, shoot me an email- I may be able to use you as a model!
